The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA might be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider issue established for intervention ordeals a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will SRD mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance products and sassa status services,” the agency said.
